// MY WORK FIELD
Since 2015, I have maintained a private practice, offering attentive listening and a welcoming space for individuals seeking to understand their internal processes and develop more authentic ways of living.
My approach is based on attentive listening, respect for each person’s unique story, and collaboratively building possible paths—even through difficult times.

Parental Guidance
Empathetic dialogue for mothers, fathers, and caregivers aiming to better understand their children and the complexities of parenting.

Abusive relationships
Support to identify, understand and free yourself from relationships that hurt, with acceptance and security.
Grief and loss
Sensitive support to get through moments of pain with support, understanding and time to process the absence .

Career transition
Support in moments of professional change, doubts about purpose or new paths.

// HOW I WORK
Clinical Practice
My clinical practice is grounded in hermeneutic phenomenology - A methodology that welcomes what the individual brings in their expression, free from judgments, labels, or predetermined answers.
Service
The service begins with deep listening to your lived experience—the way the world presents itself to you—with its sensations, meanings, and unique aspects.
Listen carefully
It involves careful listening, which respects the pace of the speaker and invites reflection on what is often being felt but has not yet been fully understood.
Focus
The focus is to open up space so that people can relate more consciously, freely and truthfully to their own story.
This approach is especially powerful in contexts of existential suffering, crisis, life transitions or moments when one feels “out of place” with the world.

How does the session work?

100% online service
Online appointments expand the possibilities for care, offering a safe, ethical, and continuous space—even across geographical distances.They also respect each person's time and context, allowing for more flexible continuity without compromising the depth of the therapeutic process.
Whereby
Services are provided through the secure and practical Whereby platform. The platform is end-to-end TLS and E2EE encrypted, ensuring data security.
Online format
I lead a migratory lifestyle, working exclusively online. This flexibility allows me to connect with individuals worldwide—whether due to relocation, studies, work, or relationships. Our sessions are conducted through Whereby, a platform that prioritizes your privacy and security.
How does the session work in the Phenomenological-Hermeneutic approach?
A welcoming space, without judgement
From our very first meeting, my commitment is to provide a safe and respectful environment. Here, you can express yourself freely, knowing you'll be listened to attentively—without haste and without labels.
A joint construction of meaning
In our sessions, we embark on a shared journey, two individuals walking side by side. I don't offer ready-made answers; instead, we collaboratively explore and make sense of your experiences. Together, we illuminate aspects of your story that may not yet have names or clear understanding. This co-creative process allows for mutual discovery and growth.
The experience at the center of listening
In our sessions, we focus on what you feel, perceive, and experience in your daily life. Together, we'll explore how these experiences manifest in the present moment, within the context of your personal history and current life circumstances. This approach allows us to gain insight into your unique experiences and navigate the challenges you're facing.

Every meeting is unique
In phenomenological-hermeneutic listening, each person is received in their uniqueness. It is a human, delicate, and profound process, in which you are invited to be who you are, in your own time.
If you feel that the time has come to take a closer look at your history, it would be a privilege to accompany you on this journey.

// WHO I AM
I am Bruna —a woman, a mother, and someone in an intercultural relationship that invites me daily to view the world with greater openness, curiosity, and attentiveness.
My journey
My journey into psychology began at 17 when I volunteered at an infectious disease hospital, spending Saturdays beside patients who received no visitors, sharing moments of silence and connection.
Training
I started my training thinking I'd go down the institutional health route. But it was in the clinic that I truly found my place. I became captivated by the gentle nature of the encounters, by the space where time seems to slow down, allowing each person to be embraced in their uniqueness. It was here that my desire—or perhaps my calling—to accompany human stories, nurture what is inherently human, and maintain a meaningful presence, began.
Today
Today, I continue to offer this space—now online, in both Portuguese and English—with ethics, care, and presence. A place where listening is patient, non-judgmental, and unhurried. It simply accompanies. It walks alongside. It gently unveils the meanings that are yet to emerge.
